Here at St Charles we have an active and enthusiastic Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Our PTA aims to support the school to provide a wider and richer experience for all our pupils which are usually ‘extra’s’ that the school budget would not normally cover. Enabling us to make the children’s experiences more fulfilling and exciting.

We raise money throughout the year by organising social events and school based activities for the enjoyment of the pupils and their families as well as the wider community.

Members of the PTA are all volunteers and are made up of parents, carers, teachers and non-teaching staff, and welcomes everyone who would like to get involved.

There are many ways to help and support the PTA – from one off smaller events, to larger ongoing and future projects that can fit around your availability and suit your interests.

Events and fundraising are truly a team effort so many responsibilities are shared across all the PTA team.

Thank you for supporting us in our recent fundraisers.

All of the money raised will be spent on things needed by the children in school.

We are always looking for more volunteers.

Fundraising

To date we have raised over £2,000 with easyfundraising which donates money to school when you shop online (at no cost to yourself). This is an app you can add to your mobile, laptop or tablet.

Some of our most popular fundraisers throughout the year include chocolate bingo, film nights, break the rules day and Mothers day/Fathers day wraps. This has enabled us to purchase digital classroom cameras, help fund the renovation of the school library, whole school pantomime visit and subsidise school trips as well as many other projects.
